For many of you, this is not the first time you’ve had issues viewing your Showing Suite account, or lots of other web sites at that. To get things up and running smoothly, sometimes all it takes is a quick and easy do-it-yourself fix.
How To Improve your Showing Suite Software Experience
If you’re having issues using your Showing Suite account, try these easy troubleshooting tips. Not only will Showing Suite work better for you, but most web pages will work better overall.
Switch Your Browser. If you’re using Internet Explorer, consider switching to Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. Since Internet Explorer doesn’t support many features that Firefox and Chrome support, this will cause many websites to display or function incorrectly. Not to mention, both Firefox and Chrome are more secure, faster, and less prone to viruses.
Click the icons below and follow the steps to download and install Firefox or Google Chrome:

Upgrade Your Browser. If you’re already using Firefox or Google Chrome (or Safari, Opera, etc), and certain websites are still looking a little “off”; your browser might be out of date. Check to see if you are using the latest version or if there are any upgrades available.
Cookies and Caches. A cookie is a file created by a web browser, at the request of a web site, that is stored on a computer. These files typically store user-specific information such as selections in a form, shopping cart contents, or authentication data. Each time you access a file through your web browser, the browser caches (stores) it. Thus, the browser doesn’t have to newly retrieve files (including any images on the page) from the remote web site each time you click “back” or “forward”.
If something isn’t displaying or working properly, try clearing your browser’s cookies and cache. Read our Help Desk article to learn how to do it yourself.
Note: When troubleshooting issues with any website, after clearing your browser’s cache and cookies, exit your browser completely before attempting to access the site again. In Windows, close all your browser windows; in Mac OS X, quit (command-q) your browser.
Stay Informed. Read the Showing Suite blog regularly to keep up to date on any new updates or issues and more troubleshooting advice. Also, browse our Help Desk Knowledge Base articles for FAQ’s.
